Abstract
The Ewauna Box Company was founded by C.B. Cristler and Charles McGowan in 1912 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. One of its new logging camps was the Quartz Mountain camp, which was established after OC&E Railway completed their line from Sprague River to Bly. Collection contains a 1930 group portrait of the Ewauna Box Company employees at the Quartz Mountain.

Historically, timber formed the basis of Klamath County’s economy. Though it contributes to only a small part of the current economy, it still holds historical significance to the community. Collection contains three boxes with ledgers with Klamath County timber estimations.
